In the Elora region, trout season opens on April 24. But before you get out on the Grand river, or whatever hidden creeks you prefer, there's usually some preparation required, so you better get started now!
For those who aren't very familiar with the Grand river between Belwood and Elora, the Fly Fish Ontario website has a handy list of access points.
And if you need to brush up on current regulations, everything you need to know is right here. Elora is in Zone 16.
